TEN "undeniable" facts!!

Here are 10 brutal truths that every single person needs to hear. Not only hear, but act on, starting now!!

1. You ARE going to die, but you have no idea when.

So stop, pretending that you're invincible. No one is!!!

Acknowledge the fact of your own mortality, and then start structuring your life in a more meaningful way. Start with you, then your family and loved ones, then move on to the rest of the world!

2. Your material wealth won't make you a better or happier person.

Even if you're one of the lucky ones who achieves his or her materialistic dreams, money only amplifies that which was already present.

You don’t need loads of money to be happy (even if it helps)!!

3. Your obsession with finding happiness is sometimes what prevents its attainment.

Happiness is always present in your life; it's just a matter of connecting to it and allowing it to flow through you that's challenging.

Don’t put pressure on yourself, and be happy for yourself - “selfish” isn’t always bad!!

Look after yourself and it saves someone else a job - so selfish can be selfless!

4. Donating money does less than donating time.

Giving your time is a way to change your perception, and create a memory for yourself and others that will last forever.

Material wealth is far less important than emotional wealth!

All rich men aren’t happy, nor are all poor men unhappy! Some are, but not all!

5. You can't make everyone happy, and if you try, you'll lose yourself.

Stop trying to please everyone else, and start respecting your own values and principles.

The expression “you’ve got to love yourself before you can love others” ISN’T just a trendy catchprase!

6. Your achievements and successes won't matter on your deathbed.

When your time has come to “go” you won't be thinking about the material things, you'll be thinking about the relationships you've made - so start acting accordingly.

The amount of people at your funeral is far more important than the size of your inheritance!!

7. What you see isn’t always what you get!!

How many of the “funniest” people turn out to be manic depressive.

Try to see past the mask (which many put up to save “getting hurt”!) and don’t assume a smile means happiness!

It does sometimes, but not always!

Listen to “tears of a clown” by Smiley Robinson, you can learn from the lyrics!!

8. Nobody cares how difficult your life is, and only you are the author of your life's story.

Stop looking for people to give you sympathy and start creating the life story that YOU want to read.

9. Investing in yourself isn't selfish. It's the most worthwhile thing you can do.

You literally have to put on your own oxygen mask to save the person sitting right next to you.

So make sure you’re safe before attempting to sort others!

10. Time is your most valuable asset - you need to prioritize how you spend it.

You have the power and responsibility to decide what you do with the time you have, so choose wisely.

The “kids” have got it right!

YOLO, do make the most of it!!!
